Holland Speedway Announces Dunkin Donuts NASCAR Hometown Heroes Program

HOLLAND, NY… For 57 years, drivers from across the Northeast and Canada have made our highbanks their home.  From sleepless nights putting their very blood and sweat into their cars, to their raceday preparation and mental stamina, they’ve given us so much.  Now it’s our turn to give back. This season, we are proud to announce our Dunkin Donuts NASCAR Hometown Heroes program. This brand new initiative will give our drivers the ultimate recognition for their hometowns, car sponsors, family members, and car owners. Furthermore, this will put a face, a story, and more importantly a personality to the veteran driver’s names fans have grown to love and idolize over the years, and the same for our rookies.

Dunkin Donuts NASCAR Hometown Heroes will honor our drivers on July 16th, July 23rd, August 6th, August 13th, and August 20th. Each of these five Dunkin Donuts NASCAR Hometown Hero races will highlight various drivers based on their hometown. On their specific night, drivers will receive 25 FREE race tickets for family and friends, and their car sponsors will receive a number of FREE tickets for customers and clients as well.

Our very first Dunkin Donuts NASCAR Hometown Hero night on July 16th  will recognize our drivers from Alden, East Aurora, Lancaster, Orchard Park, and West Falls.  Drivers from these towns will be announced prior to their specific division’s race, and will be photographed together following the full event’s conclusion.

We have been proud to call Holland our home since 1960, and blessed to have brought NASCAR racing to Western New York since 1967. 57 years strong is a tremendous accomplishment, but we couldn’t have done it without the passion and determination of our competitors. There is no better time for reflection than now , and no better place to start than with our drivers. From our family and hometown to yours, Dunkin Donuts NASCAR Hometown Heroes will be an emotional and long overdue tribute to the stars that live and breathe the asphalt of the Holland Speedway.
